So, everyone is writing about the royal wedding, and you can find proper reports on the whole shebang on much more esteemed blogs than mine, so I'll just put my penny's worth in on this quiet Sunday afternoon.1) Adored The Dress. Can't believe it ended up being McQueen - ecstatic that it was, love the vintage Grace Kelly look. Think Kate is beautiful and liked the understated hair and makeup.
2) Pippa's dress was amazing - such confidence to put a bridesmaid in a figure-hugging white silk draped-front dress, but it was spot on and will hopefully spawn a trend for bridesmaids dresses veering away from the traditional ballgown/over-styled look into something sleeker and much more suited to women once they're over 16.
3) Think we should all have respect for Camilla, who really knows how to dress a figure over 60. Think she looked chic and elegant. Much more interesting than Carole Middleton's pale blue look which came off a little bland in the face of such good outfits.
4) The less said about Beatrice and Eugenie's outfits, the better.
5) If you weren't dressed up as a fancy-dress bride and wearing a £5 imitation ring on Friday, best time you got yourself one of the above t-shirts, (www.missselfridge.com) and keep on huntin'...
