Fresh faced.

No, not me, I'm currently rocking a red nose courtesy of hay fever, and a scratch across my cheek gained by trying to crawl under the junk-filled haphazard that is Under The Bed. Wardrobe Wisdom, the blog, however, is fresh faced, thanks to the wonderful touch of fellow blogger and all-round genius website person EnglishFashion.

I'm not sure what it says about my character that the first two things that spring to mind when thinking about me are super-high Louboutin shoes and expensive Ottolenghi cookies, but never mind, I'll take it! For those who aren't blessed enough to work near enough opposite the fantastic Ottolenghi deli/patisserie on Holland Street, W8, will have to merely imagine the joy of eating one of their chocolate nut cookies. Suffice to say, they are the elixir of life, and I will do what you please if you buy me one every now and then.

As for the heels, it's hard to shrug off the tag when I'm famous amongst uni friends for braving the infamous hills of Bristol in nothing less than a good platform heel, as well as turning up for 'a long walk in the country' in 5 inch ankle-tied espardrilles. Until fairly recently, I owned only 1 pair of flat shoes, and they were my gym trainers. And the one thing on my fashion wishlist to still elude me is my very own pair of black patent sky-high Loubs. So don't lecture me on my shortened calf muscles or how perilous my platform boots are to my ankles, I know, and I don't care - heels are my weapon against a list of other insecurities and I'll until you've walked in my (high heeled) shoes you'll never know how it feels....

So - heels and cookies it is. Hope you like it.
