I stumbled across this bespoke jewellery website on an Emerald Street email earlier this week. Don't get Emerald Street? It's great - set it to read about the things you're most interested in and off you go ... This is such a lovely idea, a delicate pendant necklace that can be inscribed with a lyric, line from a book or saying etc, that means something to you. There are some examples on the website but, space aside, the possibilities are endless.
Some thoughts from my head on things I'd like:
'Reader, I married him' - Jane Eyre. Perfect for a wedding gift.
'You're the prince to my ballerina' - same as above, but also a lyric from my favourite Zero7 song.
'Oh your hair is beautiful' - from Blondie's Atomic. The song makes me want to dance.
'Dancing cheek to cheek' - gotta love a bit of Fred and Ginger ...
